All Aboard the Christmas Express!

Today was everything Christmas should be: bursting with happiness, laughter, and just a sprinkling of magic!

Over 180 Ashford District Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, and Explorers hopped aboard a very special journey to the Ashford Cinema, where we took over their biggest, comfiest screen to watch The Polar Express. And what a journey it was!

For some, it was their very first cinema trip ever - wide eyes, popcorn at the ready, and pure excitement in the air. For others, it was their first time meeting the magic of The Polar Express. And then there were those true fans who could practically recite every line... but still couldn't wait to watch it all over again. Because let's face it, some stories never get old!!

It was the most wonderfully festive way to wrap up a year packed with fun across the district. And as if the movie magic wasn't enough, we fully embraced the Christmas spirit by turning up in our pyjamas! That's right... cosy, comfy, and completely festive. There were a few Grinch's, reindeer, sparkling onesies and even a panda!

Smiles were everywhere, laughter echoed through the cinema, and Christmas cheer filled every corner. A perfect ending to a fantastic year - and a reminder that the real magic of Christmas is sharing special moments together.
